What is The Electric Bike Network?

The Electric Bike Network is passionate about establising electric bicycles as a wonderful alternative for local transportation. We are developing an expanding network of Bay Area bike shops, allied organizations, and similarly-minded people with a vision of electric bikes to make individuals healthier and happier and our neighborhoods calmer, healthier, and more enjoyable.

It’s up to each of us to decide how we will make our world healthy, enjoyable, and sustainable. It may be difficult to have a significant impact upon our nation’s energy policy. It’s completely within our reach, however, to make decisions about our own transportation and the impact our transportation will have on others and on the future.

An electric bike is a responsible decision. The Electric Bike Network is dedicated to encouraging the use of electric bikes as an alternative to a car for local transportation. To this end, we donate one third of our after-tax profits to non-profit organizations addressing transportation and environmental issues in the Bay Area.
